Sinopsis :
Bercerita tentang ketertarikan Enid dengan Frederick North, seseorang sutradara fiktif yang secara tidak langsung mengingatkannya pada trauma individu: hilangnya Adik Enid, Nina (Amelie Child Villiers), yang akta kematiannya baru saja ditandatangani oleh orang tua Enid.
Penutupan merupakan apa yang mereka inginkan—kasus Nina lumayan dingin, serta badannya tidak sempat ditemukan—tapi itu merupakan perihal terakhir yang membuat Enid aman, mengingat pekerjaannya. Jadi Enid jadi terobsesi buat menciptakan Alice Lee (Sophia La Porta), bintang film North yang baru saja menghilang; penyelidikannya jelas tidak menuju pada katarsis yang ia harapkan.
Tetapi itu bagian dari pesona film: tidak terdapat yang betul – betul sukses dengan berdialog tentang film kekerasan.
