Sinopsis :
Midnight in the Switchgrass diangkat berdasarkan kisah nyata pembunuh berantai paling berbahaya di Texas. Ceritanya mengikuti perjalanan agen FBI bernama Karl Helter (Bruce Willis) dan rekannya Rebecca Lombardi (Megan Fox) yang sedang menyelidiki kasus perdagangan seks.
Namun kemudian mereka menyadari bahwa penyelidikan mereka tersandung dengan kasus pembunuh berantai yang brutal. Mereka harus bekerja sama dengan seorang Texas Ranger Bernama Byron Crawford (Emile Hirsch) yang telah bertahun-tahun menyelidiki kasus ini.
Ketika Rebecca sendiri diculik oleh target mereka, Karl dan Byron harus berlomba dengan waktu untuk mengumpulkan petunjuk terakhir dan mengakhiri pembunuh Bernama ‘Truck Stop Killer’ yang terkenal.
